Seriously. Publix has lost their damn mind with how much they're charging for groceries nowadays. Their BOGO Are the only thing that puts them at a somewhat reasonable price. And of course their precooked deli stuff is still great and of course their quintessential Pubsubs.

Good deal with the caveat being it has to be $25 you would spend at Publix anyways. Especially with how ridiculous they price their groceries.

Amazon Aldi Walmart Target. Additionally there are others locally that wouldn't be nationwide.
Edit I forgot Sam's and Costco.
The BOGO isn't a given deal either. Some may save but I've proven in the past buying two of the same thing at Target was cheaper than the inflated Publix price so they can claim it's BOGO but you are still paying them more.

I mean their BOGOS are the reason you go. I can count on one hand the number of non sale items I've bought there in the past year. If you're picky on brand or type, and thus can't get the BOGO brand when you need something, Publix isn't the best place for you.

That has always been the case for me. Not sure why so many like to complain about Publix prices now, as if they haven't always been expensive. Even before 2020 you had to be well off and willing to spend way more than you need to, to shop there indiscriminately, in my book. But like you said, still go there for bogus/sales/coupons, and the deli/prepped food/bakery items. Best grocery store cake in the state imo, so I'm willing to pay a few bucks more there for those on a special occasion.

by me I can visit Aldi's, Sprouts, Whole Foods, WD, Walmart, and a few ethnic grocers. The ethnic grocers generally have much better deals.

Frankly, with Wawa opening up many locations throughout the state, their subs/hoagies/sammiches are a better value than Publix subs. I just don't understand the cult following for Pubsubs as the quality isn't there for the price you pay.

Facts they're finally learning they can't compete with inflation prices in this economy.

Yup they mislead so bad. They're slowly realizing they can't compete in today's economy. No longer can they get away with rip off prices

You've obviously never worked for publix or seen there financials to think they have any reason to be worried with how much they make and how loyal there customers are
