My only issue with the laptop is at this price point you are getting into 5070 ti territory which is markedly better in performance and generally has enough vram assuming you're playing at the laptops native resolution.

It's still better for local AI since you could allocate up to 24 GB to vram so if that's your use case then this makes sense over other options.

I bought this laptop last month when it was on sale at Micro Center for $1399. I really like it, but I think that was about as much as I'd pay for it. My use-case was a small travel laptop to play games while on work trips. I also wanted to experiment with Strix Halo and this was the best entry price for that. There are plenty of compelling alternatives at this price that I'd consider over this. To answer Supergames' question, the keyboard is fantastic and meets my preferences, but I believe you get the same keyboard on many Asus gaming laptops.
