Looking at customer reviews more carefully, some have reported that the video quality is NOT actually 4K — particularly noting it's difficult to read license plates even during daytime, and especially at night.
This suggests the camera may be using software upscaling rather than true native 4K sensor resolution, which means the actual captured detail is lower than advertised despite the 4K label.
