Not well if the case is not MagSafe compatible. It has to have a magnet in it. Sometimes you can see it, if the back of the case has like a circle and then a line under it, it probably would work. If not, you might be able to get it to charge if you hold it exactly right, but it won't hold on well.

If the Case is Magsafe Compatible it will work for sure. I have an Earlier Version of the 622 that I got 4 years ago and use it with a case with no problem at all.
