The code is still working. Just need to select the appropriate unit and that is the one without the case I believe.

Code works. I'm like the P-Touch psychiatrist, I'm in for one. This one will make my sixth labeler, but it has a ton of good features compared to my old school file labeler. The only thing that would be even better would be a desktop app for PC. It doesn't have that, but it does have a phone app. Between the direct input with full keyboard and the phone app you can't ask for much more, especially for only 20 bucks. Supposedly, replacement tapes are not proprietary, and the Supvan brand replacements aren't expensive either. Plus, the starter pack will last most people a long time. If you're looking for a file label machine this is probably the best you will find (I'll find out it arrives today).

It may actually replace my DYMO 160, but not my P-Touch QL-570 or my PRT labeler (different size labels).

Worked easily for me, no issues. I just copied the promo code, entered it before checking out and my total came to $21 and some change.
I think this is a SD due to the amount of extra tape included.

You have SIX label makers? Your house is either insanely organized, or insanely cluttered 😂

It's neither, but I do make/use labels a lot. I kept buying them for different purposes. I refuse to write addresses on letters or packages. 😆

Has anyone had issues with the app? I bought a smaller Supvan label maker earlier in the week but now I am nervous about downloading the app. I may send it back and get this one since you don't need to use an app....

I just received mine, installed the app. There's few ads in it, but other than that I was able to navigate around and figure it out. I haven't had any problems printing or making labels with it. I was able to figure out the basic functions of the label maker without reading the instructions. I haven't tried any templates, just text.

Overall this thing is way better than I expected. To have a choice between real keyboard and app, that's sweet! Plus the labels are really good and the extra rolls store on board 🤯No worries about where your labels are when you have to replace them. The slide cutter is slick too. They have instructions for using generic labels if not using Supvan, but I'll buy their OEM labels just to keep it simple. That won't be for a long time though with what it comes with. Backlit screen, and rechargeable. It's hard to find fault with this thing.

I keep seeing the Nimbot one that's half the price but shied away because of their proprietary labels. The comments always mention tricks to get around that but I don't want to bother.

I'm in for one of these. Seems like a good alternative.
