I have had CS agents lie to me and say I bought something 3rd party even though the seller clearly says "Amazon Resale" just to get out of issuing a refuns for broken crap.
It's no exaggeration to say these days you will have better luck on ebay than Amazon resale.

If I do used, I only do like new and it is usually 'like new' but like others said, crapshoot.
On this controller however, the controller is very small in hands. My hand would cramp after minimal usage. Probably the way I held it to not hit the triggers on the back. I returned it. Not sure why they made it so small.

The automated default response is telling you to keep it and offering you a 15% refund. If you want to send it back for a full refund you better claim its broken (even then the system may try to block your return). This is in direct contradiction to Amazon's claims but it has become SOP
Returned it after a few days.

At any rate Amazon has made it clear in their ToS that refunds can be denied for a myriad of reasons including if they want to claim you used the product before returning it, swapped it for a broken model, or if you have exceeded a monetary threshold in returns (which can be your very first refund request on a high priced item) They can, and very often do, use this policy to deny full refunds on high priced items. And I may not have such a problem with that for new goods except they slap the prime shipping and "free 30/90 day return" labes know products they have no intention of honoring.
