What kind of brain dead comment is this. Men's watches have seen steady increase over the past 15 years, including a 37% increase in sales in 2026 ytd.

Lots of people are buying this "crap"

Who buys this crap after Apple and Samsung Watch?
People that work for a living? Trying wearing your Apple crap at a physical job. It won't last a day.

I wore an Apple Watch for years, realized it doesn't really improve my workflow or processes and honestly became more of nuisance and burden so I bought an average Casio and have been happy ever since. Currently looking at G Shocks and like makers with more capabilities like solar and altimeter for hiking. People are ditching smartwatches daily for this stuff. This is just blindly ignorant to the still existing and growing world of digital minimalist out there.

I have an apple watch ultra in my drawer while I switched to real watches. Disconnecting = a better life style.

Been tempted to get one for outdoors/camping/hiking. Anyone have this particular model who can speak to their experience?

I have 43 watches. Many are G-Shock. None are Samsung or Apple. You glance you have the time or date. They have distinctive appearances for different occasions. When you become a big boy or girl you'll understand!

same. I was playing volleyball and it was getting in the way so I took it off and chucked it a good 20 yards in the general direction of our stuff. my friends stared at me like wtf. I laughed because being a gshock I didnt even need to check to know it was fine. and it was.

I had this one for many years until I lost it. Specifically for outdoor/camping use. It's been one of my favorite watches. Very comfortable, light, rugged. Good for telling time when you need it and forgetting it's on your wrist. Its night light is not great and just won't have all the other fancy hiking data, gps, and tracking as the garmins and smart watches.

People who are sick of charging crap.
I bought this after Samsung bricked my watch after an update.
I have a different color, this is the best watch ever. My daily driver.
I'm tempted to buy this just for the band. The equivalent replacement OEM band costs $45 and its starting to wear after a few years.
