Visible One bundles unlimited 5G mobile service with home internet, and the main appeal is low-cost access to Verizon-backed speeds around 300 Mbps. The 300 Mbps tier is described as enough for typical households, with 4K streaming needing far less, and the price compares favorably with other Verizon and cable options. Availability looks highly address dependent, though, and the offer may require prior FiOS wiring or a FiOS-capable ONT. Support is another weak spot, since help appears limited to app chat and setup can be finicky.
People with a FiOS-capable home setup who can work through activation steps, because the service requires compatible equipment and uses the app to activate the gateway.
Households that need guaranteed availability at a specific address, because eligibility can change by location and some addresses are shown as unavailable.
The offer appears restricted to addresses that are already wired for FiOS but not currently active on FiOS service. Current FiOS customers may need to cancel first, and some addresses with FiOS still show the bundle as unavailable.
The plan is advertised at 300 Mbps, but one order flow reportedly showed download speed capped at 200 Mbps. For many households, 300 Mbps is enough for multiple users and 4K streaming, though actual performance depends on location and network load.
The checkout flow can show different products by address: some addresses return the same $100/2-month price with 5G Internet instead of fiber. The visible.com flow also advertises it as Visible Fiber, so the exact service depends on eligibility and address.
Yes. Open the Visible app, go to Account, then tap the blue "Activate your home internet gateway" prompt to continue setup. The gateway is shipped separately and may arrive a few days after ordering.
Visible One: 2-Month Unlimited 5G Mobile + 300Mbps Verizon Fios Fiber Internet in the title.
I was able to find a work around and I ordered it. It arrives on Monday and I will update how it worked and the process. If you click the above link, it takes you to visible.com. From there the home internet is advertised as unlimited visible fiber internet. Maybe the title needs edited to remove the Verizon Fios part and replace with Visible Fiber. https://www.visible.com/shop/home...=1&afsrc=1
Also, it looks like download speed is capped at 200mb/s

I don't think you can, sorry. I am waiting for the router on Monday delviery (I ordered on Thursday and it shipped on a Friday and will arrive on a Monday...sounds like a Solomon Grundy song...hehe) and I will get back to you. From the youtube video I watched, and it worked for me trying, you log into the visible app, and then on the bottom, 3rd box over, tap account. Then a big blue box appears at the top of screen says: Activate your home internet gateway and an underlined Click here.
I clicked because I am a current customer of both of these services but after reading the comments I don't know if I am frugal enough to want to deal with all of that. Bummer too because I would love to get my monthly internet costs down; I will also need to figure out phone plans come black friday since I did the $250 for a year of visible+ deal they did (I actually think they're doing this right now too but I don't think I can pre-buy for an additional year)
I did Xfinity like that for 15 years, family of 5, device-laden smart home. Wasn't a problem until my kids decided they wanted to be gamers, got jobs, and paid for their own.
I know Xfinity very well, and the biggest con is you never, ever want to need or call tech support. You have to know what you're doing. CS also goofed on a billing matter that no one would [or could] resolve. I complained at the BBB, and corporate fixed the issue and followed up the next 6 months to make sure everything was going smoothly.
I switched to Verizon a few months ago when I moved, and it was just me. My roomie uses Visible and has no complaints. The problem always is HOW you use your cell and ISP and WHERE you live. Going from Xfinity to Fios meant a coaxial to fiber hookup. My neighborhood, however, is strictly Fios, meaning a heavy network load. Oh, I get the speed I pay for, but there's lag and intermittent packet loss. Coaxial was more solid. I'm old school and will take Ethernet over wireless wherever I can. That's not to say this particular deal won't serve you. You just can't listen to reviews and recs on this sort of thing, unless it's something with a commonality like Router XYZ has known hardware issues.
I will say, however, that Verizon itself has stackable discounts even with bundles. If you fall into certain segments of the population like teachers, first responders, or veterans. There is a low-income stipend called Verizon Forward (up to $30 like the ACP), Lifeline discount (elderly/disabled) $10. CS is exceptional in that if you explain your situation or setup, they will find the deepest discount for you. You just have to ask for it. And ALWAYS inquire about the expiry of certain discounts or promos even with a price lock.
I currently pay $15/month for 300Mbps on Fios. After a year, regular price will be $30 (still affordable for that speed) and price locked for an additional 2 years.
In summary, I say all of this for those who can't get this deal. The Verizon universe in general offers stackable, steep discounts.
