Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

The belt was initially great, but after about 2 months the coloring of the belt bled into the pant fabric. Thankfully I was able to get the stain out before it settled. I think the belt is nice, but not worth the pant discoloration.

It doesn't discolor my black pants. 🙃 Kidding aside, thanks for the heads up. I have this and will have to watch out for the khakis!

Been using these belts for years. I own multiple variations and I have only had one that the paint chipped off the buckle itself. No other issues though

The seller has buried the lede on this listing. I've purchased a similar belt before. I own a bunch of ratcheting belts. The one part that sucks about them usually is the teeth that hold the strap the the buckle.

If you look at picture 4 on the listing, it shows the clasp with the "CR" symbol. The important part is the size of that clasp. Most belts have a clasp half that size, and the teeth grab near the edge of the strap. This usual results into the teeth tearing at the strap end. You then have to cut off that part, shorting the belt each time.

This buckle has a longer clasp, and the teeth bite further down, stopping the tearing problem. It's worth buying this just for the buckle. You can use it on other straps later if this one color bleeds.

I like this belt but the worst thing is having to take them off at the airport as they buzz 100% of the time. Crappy plated belts don't.
