They should release a set with just a dozen 10mm sockets. And when you run out you just buy a whole new set.

You can get sets like that from several brands, like Snap-on, Gearwrench, and even Harbor Freight.

Black & Decker bought the name from Sears in 2017. Failed to maintain profit margin by keeping the business in USA, so farmed out to India, China, etc.... Three CEOs since 2022!

I'm sure quality control and metallurgy of Craftsman tools must suffer in order to hit quarterly earning numbers. Shiny parts cannot hide sloppy tolerances.

Harbor Freight is not a publicly traded company. Their mid to upper tier products come from Taiwan with tighter tolerances and better quality control since the company does not have to answer to shareholders.

Husky and Cobalt tools are also cheaper and often higher quality than Craftsman. Unlike BDK, TTI does a good job integrating Milwaukee.

Channellock is a family owned American tool company that still make most of its tools in USA.
