Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

To anyone shopping for this, its works great once you get it set up, but anticipate spending an extra $10-20 for a decent Bluetooth adapter if you don't already have one.

Note my mother board has BT (integrated), and its a newer board (2023) but for what ever reason that was not reliable with this (never had issue with any other devices using the integrated adapter), and apparently that's an issue for many with the PSVR and the adapter. Just wanted to give a heads up.

For those with Viture XR glasses that want USB-C video for their desktop, this is a good solution.

How does it compare to the Pro Mobile Dock?

I've only used it with my PC so unfortunately I don't know. I should test it with switch two or something though.

Doubt it, needs that box that connects to ps4. Though I think I saw someone get the psvr1 work with ps3 on yt so maybe that method would work for pc

Ahhh is that why mine doesn't work well? First time I set it up, it worked. But after that, it had connection and driver issues I believed. I tried to troubleshoot but to no avail. Which Bluetooth Adapter did you get? I have a 2021 ROG Zephyus G15 gaming laptop but I guess yours is newer so it's unlikely mine would work well.

Update: I got the ASUS USB-BT500, Best Buy has it onsale for $10 (reg $20) the community says this is what works best with it. I heard you also need a USB cable extender too, to keep it away from the laptop which emits it's own RF radio signals. Glad i can put this thing to use again... I bought Half Life Alyx wanting to try that on my PC. I can't find anytime to use my psvr2 but eventually I will, hopefully...

Yep, ASUS USB-BT500 is exactly what I bought too (had to check in device manager to verify, since it just says "Asus" on the adapter).

I hope it solves your issues, do post when you try it out, now I want to know if it works for you too.

In terms of hours of use per $, this is third only to my PC and my phone. Additionally, while the BT issues are real and widespread, I guess I got lucky and the BT on my motherboard (ROG Strix X570E) is good enough for both VR controllers. Not saying I've never had issues but the issues I had weren't enough for me to buy a separate adapter.
