Be extra mindful that this is the HIGH TORQUE one. GINORMOUS. As a small home owner, home mechanic, DIYer, I know I won't have any use. Great deal, nonetheless.

Thanks for sharing that, I was about to pull the trigger on this one.
I need one of these to get the lug nuts off of my F-150…!
I'm waiting for a deal on the mid torque model myself so I can get the lug nuts of cars and SUVs. The lug nut torque spec on the latest F150 is 150 lb-ft. Old models' is less. The mid torque should have plenty of oomph for you on the F150, yea?

If access room isn't an issue always get the high torque. You can always put it on a lower setting. If you ever get into a situation where you need to use extensions or adapters, you will loose 30-40% of that high torque.

Yes a Mid-torque Ridgid Impact will loosen the lugnut from an F150 quite easily.
They've put this kit on sale for $179 a few times lately. $199 is still a good deal on a GREAT impact! You WILL break or strip something the first time you use it!

No you don't. Unless you take your truck to places that Most of the time way over torque with impacts and chew up your lug nuts. I can break 155 footpounds with a moderate effort with a 18 breaker bar. If your going to use an impact do not use a 12 point, always 6 point socket.
