JUMP ON IT if you need them ONE DAY DEAL. Max output especially for hand held tools because of weight. IMO is better to have many lighter wt batteries and change them than lugging some 6 or 8amp over your head or at arms length like a leaf blower.
Not generally, these are made for Ridgid tools. They do sell third party adapters that will make these batteries fit other tools, but reviews are mixed as to whether this would be good for the tool otself. That said, I am currently using a Ridgid battery on an old brushed DeWalt drill and it works well, but when I try to use the Ridgid battery on a Milwaukee Fuel impact driver with a different adapter, the tool doesn't activate the motor with the standard Ridgid battery. Might work with the high output ones though but don't have any around to test.
