I have never had one of these, what do you find that practice use of these for? I typically use ratchets or an impact with extensions

Precision work where you need to 'feel' that fasteners are not cross-threading or galling.

You might run a bunch of hard to reach, fine thread bolts with this, then set them with a Torque Wrench.

You are not getting to any of those hard to reach bolts with this thing unless you are using it with a joint socket adapter and maybe a socket extension

You are totally allowed to use those tools with a Speeder.

True, in some situations you might need an extension (in addition to the 10" you get past the handle).

I have somehow acquired and given away so many of these speed wrenches since I haven't really found them useful for anything that I do. I gave a Snap-on one to my neighbor who is a small engine mechanic and he was so appreciative. Not sure if it was because he really needed a speed wrench or because it was Snap-on. Probably the latter since I usually see him with a small impact in one hand and an M12 ratchet in the other.

Like a Crowsfoot, T-handle or an Obstruction Wrench, it's not an everyday tool for most people.

But it does not make sparks and it does not make noise; if you are stealthily working into the night.

Exactly, use a real breaker bar to break the nut, then switch to this speeder wrench for speedy removal.

This is the kind of tool you can easily find while flea market/thrift shopping and pay less than $10 for. It will typically be right next to the manual hand-crank drills.

I agree and have probably 2-3 in my tool box collecting dust for decades. I can understand its usage initially but with ratchets and even powered ratchets I think they're due for the museum.
