single is exactly at half price I dont see why I should get the double. Price is okay and probably will be good for my water heater flush once a year but I wouldnt rely on it for outdoor for more than one season
They're useful for what they are, neat and within the distance you need it. However, just know the pressure is really bad so if you're ok with that not a bad deal.

I've had a similar coiled hose for about 3 years, and it's awesome. No need to wind it up. But I keep it in my garage, not outside in the elements.
The only small negative is that 1/2" is thinner than a regular 3/4" garden hose, so the flow rate isn't as high.
