This Walmart T Mobile plan is mainly about getting direct T Mobile service at a lower entry price, with store support, live representatives, T Mobile Tuesdays, and extras like Canada and Mexico coverage, texting in 215 countries, and some international data. The plan is unlimited, but the first 50GB is prioritized data and speeds can drop after that, so heavy users may notice slower performance. Taxes and fees are extra, autopay requires a T Mobile Visa or debit card, and the offer is for new accounts only. A practical pick if in person support matters more than the cheapest MVNO price.

  • People who want in-person account help, because the plan includes retail-store support and live representatives instead of only app or chat support.

  • Light-to-moderate data users, because the first 50GB is prioritized and the plan stays unlimited afterward at lower priority.

  • People who want T-Mobile network features like Tuesdays, in-flight GoGo access, and native satellite support, because those extras are included.

  • Frequent travelers to Canada or Mexico, because the plan includes Canada and Mexico service plus unlimited texting in 215 countries.

  • People who need full-speed data beyond 50GB, because speeds can be reduced after the priority allowance is used.

  • Heavy hotspot users, because hotspot is capped at 3G speeds or 5Mbps even when the plan itself is unlimited.

  • Rural or weak-signal commuters, because coverage can drop outside city areas and inside buildings.

  • Existing T-Mobile customers trying to keep their current line, because this offer is for new accounts only.

You guys going back and forth about the 5 year price guarantee need to click the link and read the fine print. It only applies to the Experience plan which is their most expensive. Was this always the case?

Anyways, these guarantees don't usually apply to promotional pricing.

Those terms and conditions subject to change people are always hilarious. If someone argues that, they are immediately disqualified as someone to listen to for anything.

So is the initial 50GB data bucket lower priority than the standard Tmo lines or not? If so, just get Google Fi .

This will be the lowest cost plan that will have native one plan satellite with T-Mobile.

25+10 plus taxes.

I use the add on tmo satellite 10 second esim plan with visible. Uses more battery, because have to have both sims active.

First sentence says it starts 8/6. Is that supposed to say 9/6?

How much taxes are there really on a Post-Paid plan?
I'm still on the Walmart prepaid $30 mo plan. It's always worked fine for me, so I've never shopped around.

There have been varying terms over the years, but the plans offered around 2017 and 2018 did not include that option for T-Mobile to change the plan or increase the price of the plan. I even pulled the entirety of the fine print for confirmation.
Very true, oddly mine never went up but someone I know that had the same plan as me around the same time as me is getting charged more.

I have a $15. prepaid line and added the $10 SAT service. Works great and if you get it on a sim (non esim) you can move the sim to another phone (if on their list and unlocked or a T-Mo phone).

I had a similar plan to this for the same price. They jacked it up to $32 last month. This is like throwing salt into the wound for them to offer the same plan to new customers after taking it away from current users.

Is it possible to get discounted/free phone with this plan? Apologies if dumb question, I always buy phone by paying full price so no idea. But as phones get more expensive maybe a deal makes more sense
