This Walmart T Mobile plan is mainly about getting direct T Mobile service at a lower entry price, with store support, live representatives, T Mobile Tuesdays, and extras like Canada and Mexico coverage, texting in 215 countries, and some international data. The plan is unlimited, but the first 50GB is prioritized data and speeds can drop after that, so heavy users may notice slower performance. Taxes and fees are extra, autopay requires a T Mobile Visa or debit card, and the offer is for new accounts only. A practical pick if in person support matters more than the cheapest MVNO price.
People who want in-person account help, because the plan includes retail-store support and live representatives instead of only app or chat support.
Light-to-moderate data users, because the first 50GB is prioritized and the plan stays unlimited afterward at lower priority.
People who want T-Mobile network features like Tuesdays, in-flight GoGo access, and native satellite support, because those extras are included.
Frequent travelers to Canada or Mexico, because the plan includes Canada and Mexico service plus unlimited texting in 215 countries.
People who need full-speed data beyond 50GB, because speeds can be reduced after the priority allowance is used.
Heavy hotspot users, because hotspot is capped at 3G speeds or 5Mbps even when the plan itself is unlimited.
Rural or weak-signal commuters, because coverage can drop outside city areas and inside buildings.
Existing T-Mobile customers trying to keep their current line, because this offer is for new accounts only.

I was fortunate to get the 75%off first year w/ that Google play promo last month. It was for the first line only so I put my card on 4 individual Google pay accounts. That discount applies to taxes too so it came to $13.60/mo per separate lines for a year for the 50GB plan. At least I can get credit card points. Tmobile makes you use a debit card to get the auto pay discount.
With Tmobile closing stores and moving everything to the tlife app it's like having an MVNO anyways.
I like the phone and text from a browser, transcribed texts of voice messages, and AI enhanced noise reduction that Google Fi has.
Less than two weeks after I signed up with two older Samsung phones (which they knew about when I signed up) they sent me an email announcing that in two weeks neither phone will support wi-fi calling or voicemail (the two most used features here) because their Android level is not high enough (and of course Samsung stopped supplying updates to those older phones).
I understand that new features need higher Android levels, but the right thing to do is warn me about that AT THE TIME I SIGNED UP. Google, as always, sticking to their "Do the MOST POSSIBLE EVIL!" mantra.
My $15/line deal will end soon, and I'll be looking for another vendor.
always competition. rather they all go bankrupt than let them merge.
remember they said support the troops thats always a lie.

Why in the H did tmo jack up the rate then go and offer this, I had to port out the lines to
GoogleFi which is great so far. The data is always 5G vs the lte they always would get on the same device plus got the 75% off deal. With the referal credit the 1st line is getting about 6 months for free and the 2nd line getting 3 mnths. If its still available mayb ill port em out but eff tmobile ceo for causing all this sht.
