This Walmart T Mobile plan is mainly about getting direct T Mobile service at a lower entry price, with store support, live representatives, T Mobile Tuesdays, and extras like Canada and Mexico coverage, texting in 215 countries, and some international data. The plan is unlimited, but the first 50GB is prioritized data and speeds can drop after that, so heavy users may notice slower performance. Taxes and fees are extra, autopay requires a T Mobile Visa or debit card, and the offer is for new accounts only. A practical pick if in person support matters more than the cheapest MVNO price.

  • The plan includes T-Mobile Tuesdays, which adds extra perks beyond basic voice and text service.

  • The plan can provide in-person support through T-Mobile brick-and-mortar locations and authorized retail partners.

  • The plan is described as unlimited data overall, with speed changes after the 50GB threshold rather than a hard data limit.

  • The plan includes international texting in 215 countries and includes Canada and Mexico in the coverage details.

  • The plan can deprioritize data after 50GB, which may reduce speeds compared with other customers.

  • The Walmart link and activation details can be confusing, and the $25 price may require in-store switching rather than reflecting online.

  • The autopay discount may require a T-Mobile Visa or debit card, and taxes and fees may not be included in the advertised price.

  • The plan's 50GB allowance can run out quickly, so the "unlimited" label may not match real-world expectations.

It's probably lower priority like their essentials plan we were on. We switched to Google Fi and it has the same priority as their higher post paid plans. I would wait for Google Fi deals like their normal 50% off first year.

I was fortunate to get the 75%off first year w/ that Google play promo last month. It was for the first line only so I put my card on 4 individual Google pay accounts. That discount applies to taxes too so it came to $13.60/mo per separate lines for a year for the 50GB plan. At least I can get credit card points. Tmobile makes you use a debit card to get the auto pay discount.

With Tmobile closing stores and moving everything to the tlife app it's like having an MVNO anyways.
I like the phone and text from a browser, transcribed texts of voice messages, and AI enhanced noise reduction that Google Fi has.
I have had GoogleFi for a year now. It's T-Mobile with a total lack of ANY tech support after you're up and running. To clarify: no email, no web based, no telephone based, NOTHING. They suggest you crowd source your support issues.

Less than two weeks after I signed up with two older Samsung phones (which they knew about when I signed up) they sent me an email announcing that in two weeks neither phone will support wi-fi calling or voicemail (the two most used features here) because their Android level is not high enough (and of course Samsung stopped supplying updates to those older phones).

I understand that new features need higher Android levels, but the right thing to do is warn me about that AT THE TIME I SIGNED UP. Google, as always, sticking to their "Do the MOST POSSIBLE EVIL!" mantra.

My $15/line deal will end soon, and I'll be looking for another vendor.

Yep. The price of my military plan almost doubled in the past 2-3 years. In fact, they recently canceled the plan & renamed it something else along with a circa $40 price hike. Moved all my lines over to the US Mobile Warp plan & am much happier. Verizon service in our area is the best. Now every time I walk past the T-Mobile kiosk at Costco I get a chuckle.
remember when tmobile said they would provide better service at lower prices lmao. a joke. no merger ever resulted in lower prices or better service ever.

always competition. rather they all go bankrupt than let them merge.

remember they said support the troops thats always a lie.

Walmart has nothing about this deal if you click the link on the front SD page. It's all the usual overpriced T-Mobile plans.

I'll never deal with T Mobile again. They raised my rate during my "locked in rate" period, then gas lit me by saying "you had the option to leave at any point," basically claiming I chose to stay, so I was in the wrong. I switched to total wireless and haven't looked back. Look up T Mobile FCC complaints before signing up for them. They are terrible to their customers.

wow, thats like flipping the bird to all it's existing customers. I pay 105 every month for pretty much the same plan. Best service for the lower northeast for me but i'm done paying those prices. I'll go to a t-mobile partner and pay 40 a month anyday. It is a great deal for new customers though. Just need to have a phone thats still in good shape and your set.

Warning, T-Mobile offers the worst security possible. You are at risk of getting sim swapped and having your bank account drained

Got my first bill for this yesterday. Taxes and fees are not included in the price, and the only way to get the autopay discount is with T-Mobile's Visa card or a debit card.

Uff. this is pretty much the tmobile 55+ plan that my folks had for mayb a decade or longer...

Why in the H did tmo jack up the rate then go and offer this, I had to port out the lines to
GoogleFi which is great so far. The data is always 5G vs the lte they always would get on the same device plus got the 75% off deal. With the referal credit the 1st line is getting about 6 months for free and the 2nd line getting 3 mnths. If its still available mayb ill port em out but eff tmobile ceo for causing all this sht.

If you like T-Mobile or a promotional person for T, I guess it works for you. That should be a third party data information, not T using their own data. Last time I had T, I get out of a city area and I had problems. Missing phone calls, text, just like Google Fi.
That's an iPhone issue missing calls. I went around my work with iPhones and had each person on all different networks call there cell phone from their work line, only 1 received the call out of 18, the rest wouldn't even ring. All networks, T-Mobile, Verizon and att, the only one that rang was a Verizon 16 pro max, no 17s, no 15s, no 14s, no 13s, no other 16s rang either. All the android phones did ring. None of them had on call screening and none of them had any indication they got a call.

according to T-Mobile, less than 1% of their current subscribers use more than 50gb of data so for 99% of people this is literally a non-issue.The real benefit of this plan is for people who still like to have access to retail store support (billing, upgrades, technical) and the ability to speak with live representatives over the phone - you don't get that option with most prepaid MVNOs.
very well said but most here are farting on chair crying for data better get junk mint mobile
