I've been buying them from various eBay sellers and for less than T-Mo's plans before any 911, etc fees.

Y'all do realize this is just the Simple Choice plan but with a new name? I have Simple Choice now. Work in and around the Baltimore area. What I don't like about T-Mobile is signal strength inside buildings, especially at the back of buildings, like Walmart for example. You'll lose Internet, and sometimes calls, and have to wait till you get towards the front to get a signal again. Have a S25 plus with 5G. Building strength has been bad since I got with them over 15 years ago.

Mint Mobile (which T-Mobile owns) beats this hands down, $15/month for unlimited if you pay upfront for the year. I had them last year, and on the exact same phones, performance and speed were identical to full-price T-Mobile.

That's not just a t-mobile issue, that's all wireless carriers. T-mobile might actually be the best carrier in situations like that with their 600mhz/band 71 frequency, lower than anyone else. Lower frequencies go farther and penetrate buildings better. The only other way to get around that is with something like spectrum mobile or xfinity mobile, where you may automatically connect to any in store WiFi hotspots. At&t also has some, I think Home Depot is one example with them.

It's gotten better but there used to be dead spots on the highway and at my job 20 feet from the door to outside. My buddy with Verizon didn't have those problems. And sometimes out and about I have to turn off 5G to be able to get on the internet. 5G isn't all it's cracked up to be.

I'm desperately looking for this offer, but I can't seem to find it. The link here shows it for only $50, but unfortunately, there are no T-Mobile representatives in-store, and the electronics employee I spoke to was unaware of this offer. Could someone please assist me in finding this deal?

In rural PA, I had service with TMo but not with Mint. YMMV

This is only available via Walmart's third party vendor who does activations in-store, so you'll have to just call around to find a store with them

Personally, I'm trying to get as far away from T-Mobile as possible. After being a customer for over a decade, they have become very slimy. Any bargains can change at any time.

I was able to find a Walmart wireless center associate and get this deal, It's a good deal if you don't need mobile hotspot. I need hotspot and when I used it was super slow due to 3G speed. Ported out in less than 24 hours.

If it's "prioritized" after 50GB, I'd be sure to use 50GB at the beginning of every month so I get get the prioritized speeds! Most carriers deprioritize you after you hit a certain limit. Me thinks you got this bass ackwards. 🤣

Guys, I need your advice. My friend signed up for a T-Mobile plan that comes with a "free" Samsung Galaxy S26 for $85/month. If he now buys this plan at Walmart and simply stops paying for the T-Mobile plan that came with the S26, will the "free" phone get locked by T-Mobile after the account is suspended? Thanks!

I don't know if they'll blacklist the phone but he'll definitely get a bill for the remaining unpaid balance. If he doesn't pay them what's owed, it will go to collections

If he switches his plan to the Walmart one, he'll be billed for the remaining unpaid balance of the phone and lose the bill credits he was likely getting towards the phone
