Never heard of this brand. With the cost of meat these days, idk if I'd trust it.
i'd say there are 100'sd of other brands there and 99% of them dont make anything themselves, but just rebadge OEM, so, you should likely trust that...
my guess they all perform within 95% of the best ones, where best might be -1-2f better, lor show you 1-2seconds faster, or offer something else unique that can't be copied... but at 5x the cost...
in the end, my guess it's a good product, but is it the best, no...

i don't know for a fact, but if I had to bet, it's branded OEM. very few have the capacity to develop their own design, engineering, software engineering and manufacturing. and if they did, this would cost much more...
and, to eb honest, i dont think we'd want them to do all of that work as it'll rarely translate into a significantly better product.
with that said, I ddi buy a $60 thermoworks thermometer years ago and it's faster than anything else out there and has been rock reliable, but I also use it many times per week, so fr me, it made sense, and i just gifted 2-3 others I had (cheaper, but still reliable) to friends, who are typically not OCD about cooking streak to 125f and are ok with 125-132 range.
Test accuracy by placing the probe into an ice slurry (crushed ice with water) to check for 32f, then into boiling water (without touching the pot) to check for 212f at sea level. If your reading differs from either benchmark by more than 1f accounting for a 1f drop in boiling point per 500 feet of elevation
In case anyone was interested in getting it. I got it because my previous one broke and I did the cold water test and it would not read accurately. I ended up returning it
