Shop around authorized resellers for open box / returned units. I purchased a new / open box iPad Pro 11" M4 2TB Wifi+Cellular model from Connection (MacConnection) for $564+ tax over the weekend. Was able to get Apple to update date of coverage as well.

More details about how you found this unicorn, please. Looking at MacConnection now I see nothing remotely close to this sort of deal.

I just kept an eye on their clearance site - some good deals pop up from time to time. I've seen iMac M4 go for $799. MacBook Air M5 for $749.
