I meant this remote is included when you buy those fire tv sticks and it should work right away. Please explain what didn't work for you.

The remote control that came with the 4K Fire stick is not exactly like the TV remote. When the Fire Stick was plugged into the USB port , the remote worked fine. But I don't need the Fire Stick stays in all the time. I have an Amazon Omni Fire TV, so once the Fire Stick was removed. The remote control itself is dead. It won't work as a stand alone TV remote control. I manually try to sync the Fire Stick remote with the TV, it just doesn't work.
