Usually it only works once and then the coupon disappears. Check the "Shop items" link next to the coupon to see all the qualifying items before you commit. Might be another deal you like better to use the coupon on.
It's yet another manipulative (technically legal) tactic to skirt around price discrimination law to charge every customer as much as possible, while pontificating to customers what great deals they're giving them, while making record profits, while whining about the cost of business, while while firing americans and hiring foreigners and underpaying everyone while lobbying congress members for everything possible to make more money.
