Don't buy this or any whirlpool top loader. Loads of issues with the Chinese made control boards on this thing.

Nobody likes me saying it but I have a Samsung top loader my landlord put in. Parents have LG one. Neither have given me any issues.

I've had a Whirlpool exactly like this for over ten years. No problem.

Damnit looks exactly like what I bought 10 years ago and still use...no issues at all...guess they've changed it?

Surprised by the negative comments. I experienced no issues with ours for the past 5 years.
It replaced another whirlpool washer that came with our house 17 years ago. We only use it once a week, FWIW.

Yes they have. My parents have one that looks the exact same and has lasted them a long time, so I assumed that I would buy the same looking one... Found out after reading many forums that they changed a bunch of stuff.
