These will fail quickly. I got 12 of them and have had to replace all of them over the past year.

I got one of these (identical model, unsure of brand) a long time ago and it made it 6 years before failing. It even tries to turn on occasionally still.
Shame the quality, apparently, has dropped so much.

Promo code does not work at all. Tried it with both the 2 pack and 6 pack.

Finally got it to work on the 2 pack. Absolutely does not work on the 6 pack though.

this "brand" showed up on amazon a little over 1.5 years ago, so how did you purchase one of these 6 years back? perhaps a similar looking one? if so - would love to know the brand.

Looked identical, the brand faded off in the sun year ago (along with the top layer of the solar panel), figured it was the same one since I haven't seen another close match.
I found mine laying in a campsite when I worked for the forest service, so I dont have an order to check.

I've purchased this exact light from this exact brand in 2022 from Amazon. They all still work for me. Brand is definitely older than 1.5 years

These things are horrible, I have 12 ordered from this brand in March. I think 2 are still working. Most are completely full of rust (I can only assume they aren't sealed properly).

In contrast I have 4-5 others from another brand purchased darn near 10 years ago that still work. These style lights can be made properly and last for years...just Aootek ain't going to be the one to do it.

According to my Amazon order history JESLED and M_pow but the links to the lights are dead. The M_pow I bought in 2016 when I bought a prefab shed so I could read the combo lock on the door. Never changed that light and it still lasts half the night. I remember installing it. The JESLED were ordered in 2020 and most are all working (I think one did fail after a few years).

Note; slickdeals is blocking the "M_pow" without the underscore. It is spelled with all the letters together. I am guessing that brand was blocked for spamming?

I too have bought this exact brand atleast 4 years ago. I bought a 6 pack. All still work but aren't as bright as they used to be. I've bought the same lights but some other brand (look exactly the same but a little smaller) I think 4 out of 6 work after a couple yrs.

you are right, so let me rephrase: this specific light mentioned in this post showed up on amazon a little over 1.5 years ago. I wasn't as clear. this brand used to make much better products. what i do like about this specific light is that it has a "lip" above where the screws would go, and that lip is wide enough to be inserted into the siding seam where it holds tightly - without needing to screw it into anything. i love this because i am able to move them around form time to time - because they are in different places, some get more sunlight then others, and, thus, charge and discharge differently. we bought several 4 and 6 packs couple of years ago - half still work, rest were recently replaced with new 4-packs we bought about a month ago when they were $8.50 on amazon
