Coupon won't apply for me. Surprised a Gooloo listing has stayed up this long, they usually get removed for whatever reason.

I just tested the coupon and it worked. Are these bad? It looks like the company has a lot of sales and reviews.

Try again. Sometimes you have to try a few times before it works. It worked for me. Took two tries

The Gooloo 4000 was raked second only to Noco on Project farm tests last year on YouTube

Whatever brand you buy. The best time to buy is in the summer. Winter prices always go up.

Advertises 45W PD, but FWIW the input/recharge rate appears to only be 15W (5V/3A) so relatively slow.. My current gooloo unit also claims 5V/3A but for some reason it only charges at like 9-10W. It's agonizingly slow. Mine seems to have a fairly high self-discharge rate so I have to top it off once every few months and that seems to take like 2-3 hours every time.

I've been waiting for a deal on the NOCO Boost GBX45 which can recharge at 60W - 0-100% in under an hour.

These are NOT bad! I have a Gooloo for each of our cars and have had this brand for about 10 years now, they're quite good for the price.

They always do well in the Project Farm shootout and are much cheaper than the Nocos.

These jump packs have increasingly started boosting the max output rating claims over the years due to the competitive jump pack marketplace. I would go by tested reliability over any stated marketing claims. At 3000A, this GOOGLO jump pack has twice the peak output of the Audew Car Jump Starter,1500A Peak 17200mAh I bought in 2020 that it's replacing, so this Googlo should have no issue jumping most vehicles. The Audew had no problem starting the ~5 vehicles i've jumped since I bought it. Recently I tried to help someone with a diesel pickup and it was the first time it failed to jump the vehicle, luckily he had jumper cables so I was still able to get him going. I noticed the Audew battery seemed to be discharging more frequently, so that's why I'm replacing it with this Googlo jump pack. The Audew was a recommendation from the original ProjectFarm jump pack shootout, which didn't disapoint. The Googlo jump packs have always done well in ProjectFarm's more recent testing videos, so I'm sure it will be a good purchase for the few times I may need to jump start someone.

Gooloo is the goat.
I had a Honda that had an issue with keeping the battery charged and I used my gooloo 3 to four times a week for a year.
I have had it for six years now and I have put it through hell it's been in my car in 105 degree weather and freezing weather
I used it at least 8 or 9 times without having to charge it.
I have used it to jump a forklift.
I used it without a battery to move my car to the other side of my yard I have dropped it several times and there has been something raddling around in it for over two years it's wrapped with tape and works just as good as the day I bought it.
It's not this model but I will definately be getting this one

Many jump starters won't jump Diesel engine. It's something about the battery in Diesel engines that make the jump starter circuit shut off .

I believe Noco and wolfbox will start a Diesel. They're probably other also but you should check before buy a jump starter if you're going to use it for a Diesel engine

Gooloo has a bypass ("boost") button on it to turn it into a dumb jump pack. My DD vehicle is a mid 00s model, so when I get a jump pack, I test it by trying to start my car with NO battery attached since my car doesn't care about having no battery for a bit. In order to do this, you have to hit the boost button on the gooloo pack otherwise it won't attempt the jump because it thinks something is wrong.

In that mode, there are no protections for reversed polarity or for touching the leads together, so don't do anything stupid after using the boost button.

Having said all that, my 4000a Gooloo can, and has, started a few diesel engines with no issue and we used it repeatedly (6x the same day without a recharge and it wasn't dead) on a friend's 78 carbureted Ford 302 V8 that did not want to start even with carb cleaner. Even I was surprised how good the Gooloo was on that engine. I thought the pack would overheat from all the tries in quick succession, especially given how long we cranked it.
But, no problems.
