Coming from someone who first uses the breaker bar before going to grab the impact wrench out of the house, at this price you can afford to upgrade later, if at all. (When the case breaks you have to figure out what to do with its contents.)

$25 seems like a pretty good deal on all the pieces you get. Even if the quality is lacking. Appreciate that there isn't a random common size missing.

I'm snagging this one since I didn't have any of my own yet. Previously just borrowed an air impact from family and prayed that my regular sockets survived (they did). The impact driver to socket adapter is a nice plus too as I do at least have an impact driver already. Hopefully that works for light stuff.

That was the first thing I checked. I bought a black-painted metric-only set with skips around 20 years ago when I bought an 120VAC impact wrench, and they doubled as my 1/2" deep sockets until around 4 years ago. I bought an SAE-only set in 2020ish. I didn't splurge on metric master sets in both chrome and impact until 25 years after I changed my first water pump in a parking lot. So $24 is probably less than I spent on those first two sets.

The only socket I've ever broken was with a 4' iron pipe on a 12" flex handle (and it was a MIUSA Craftsman) - I think the 120VAC wrench is 200-ish ft-lbs, 300-ish for the 18V Ryobi, but I haven't suffered any failures the few times I've done it with made-in-Taiwan chrome sockets in the past.

I wouldn't get your hopes up too much with the impact driver, but it's there to try out.

Yeah, definitely don't expect much out of the impact driver unless it's just a bunch of small bolts that I need to remove quickly and don't want to do with the ratchet. Will be getting a compact air impact at some point for light jobs. I typically only tackle the easily accessible jobs myself (brakes, mower blades and pulleys, etc), so hopefully no water pumps in my future.
