Adidas Adizero EVO SL is a lightweight, bouncy running shoe that stands out for comfort and all around run performance. It feels especially good on foot for road running and cross country, and it has enough cushioning to make longer runs feel easy. The tall, soft platform can feel a bit unstable, so it is not ideal for lifting, squats, or lunges. It can work for treadmill or elliptical sessions, but the value depends on finding a lower sale price.

  • Runners wanting a light, bouncy daily trainer, because it feels very comfortable and performs well for all-purpose running.

  • Cross-country runners needing an all-around shoe, because it delivers strong running performance and feels good enough to gift for serious mileage.

  • Gym-goers doing cardio machines, because it works fine on treadmills and ellipticals while staying comfortable.

  • Runners who prioritize comfort over durability, because it feels great on foot even though it may wear out quicker.

  • Weightlifters and leg-day lifters, because the tall, unstable platform is poor for squats and lunges.

  • Gym users who lift, because it is fine for cardio machines but not recommended during weight training.

  • Runners with inward-rolling heels, because the shoe can make the heels roll inward a little.

How is it for walking say, compared to the Ultraboost?

I think it would work great for it. Maybe a bit overkill, and the ultraboost tends to be less expensive if that matters. These seem to wear out quicker also, but they are so comfortable for running it's worth it.

I'm not really sure. I'd probably use a different shoe. I don't wear these to the gym. These tend to feel a bit weird (but in a good way) when you put them on because they're so light and bouncy. They're perfect for running.

Cheers! Thanks for the info. I have several pairs of Ultraboost but I like the look of these shoes. Are there any ankle stability issues?

These feel a bit tall and unstable to me. Great for running but wouldn't recommend them for gym/lifting. You'd want a more flat shoe for that typically

U can buy new balance ellipse , which are closer in price to this deal. And very similar to 1080 in how they feel on foot. And later, if you really like them, you can get them for around $90-100 on black friday. And yes, they are really that good, i have 3 pairs already.

I'd agree with this. That said I've bought 3 pair over last 2 years with one being saved

Not great for leg lifting day. You'd want flat soles for good squats & lunge targeting.
