These still get stick drift. To put a Hall effect joystick would be a few bucks for Microsoft or Nintendo and they still don't put it in their controllers. Shows the level of greed vs wanting a quality product

Almost every part of the controller is customizable. From rumble to button remapping. I paid MSRP for it back in 2023 and still think I got a hell of a deal. I still think the dualsense edge is a better controller and that was $180 and has two less paddles.

I bought one a couple of years ago and have absolutely loved it. I haven't experienced any stick drift yet. I was going through non-elite controllers every six months because I slam the right trigger in the games I play and it would break. With the elite version, I set it up with the trigger lock and voilà, no more breaking triggers. It's been totally worth it in my use case.

I've had two of these since it dropped in 2019 (and series 1 before that). The first the RB stopped working and was out of warranty. The second is still going strong. Zero stick drift on either.

Absolutely worth the investment if you play on controller regularly. But be aware they are prone to bumper issues, there are guides online on how to fix - https://youtu.be/1EjJ5JjOtUo

If your game uses the bumpers, buy extras in bulk. Also, they are a PITA to solder.

I've had this version 6 years now with zero stick drift. Some other issues, but not that

It's a shame these are built like garbage. I loved the programmable buttons on the bottom, but it fell apart after about 6 months. Buttons stopped working, stick started drifting, rubber cover started peeling off, 🙄. I paid for it with Microsoft points and it was a waste.

rbs died 3x on me with these and no tmrs, went to gamesir g7 pro and didnt look back, this is a good price tbf though if you want to take a gamble

Yeah. I have one and love it. It's hard to explain to people that ask why pay double. It's like asking why pay more for a luxury car. You don't have to, a Honda will get you from point A to point B if that's all you care about, so will public transport, presumably.
