The previous FP deal was a better deal than this at 75¢/oz (https://slickdeals.net/f/19938015-34-count-uskich-coffee-machine-cleaner-descaler-tablets-7-64-0-22-each-w-s-s-free-shipping-w-prime-or-on-35), this deal is only 85¢/oz, and I commented on the last one that you can get pure citric acid for only 30¢/oz here [a.co]. This deal got posted just 3 hours ago and has 20 upvotes and no comments, so at this point I guess we should just abandon the front page and go to popular instead and hope for less staff shoveling Frown

Just use vinegar or buy some citric acid.

Handling/storing solid tablet is much more convenient than liquid or powder. Buying the convenience at $8 seems to be a good deal.

This is not something I'm doing every day. Maybe at most I should actually do this once a month. It's not difficult.

Which reinforces what they said about convenience 😬

This is not the same type of product.

From the on-page alexa since I couldn't find any description:
Quote :
These tablets are not intended to be dissolved directly in the water reservoir/tank of your Keurig. For Keurig machines specifically, descaling products that go into the water tank (like Keurig's own descaler or Affresh tablets) would be the right choice.

Most of these are just citric acid and binder anyway

Does this work for any type of coffee machine or only specific model type?

Agree. I just don't trust how much cleaner vs binder is actually in tablets.

Dissolve 2 tbsp Citric Acid to a quart of warm water. Run it through the Keurig, let it cool, dump it in the toilet overnight and brush in the morning.

A $10 bag of Citric Acid will last years. Plus it has other uses too.

Citric acid is the way to go. I just did it to my keurig (replica) that was sitting months cluged, and on first try water went through through.

I bought the 10-lb from Amazon in Sept 2020 and paid $24.99. Now it's $22.99 for the 5-lb. :/ Still a better deal than the tablets though.
