Not saying you can't, but subs are different and will fight each other by canceling out frequencies, etc. Especially when one is ported and one isn't.

I agree with this. I got 10S MKII then upgraded to 12s and no regrets. use the 10S MKII as my 2nd sub but might just sell it off

Edit: if for home theater, 2 subs are better than 1. Maybe you are better off single in this case.
