Unless you are space constrained, I would opt for a single 12S over this. I saw this as an owner of a 10S, 10S MkII, and 12S. Got the 12S last (wasn't an option when I first got a 10S), and it is a beast.

While the 12s is a better performing product, there is alot of benefit by using dual subs versus a larger single sub (more even overall sub performance). if you have the space, nothing wrong with getting a single 12s now and a second when budget allows.

I agree with this. I got 10S MKII then upgraded to 12s and no regrets. use the 10S MKII as my 2nd sub but might just sell it off

Also the caveat with dual subs is you need a receiver that can help calibrate the levels between the 2 and also you'll need software and a calibration mic. It's been a pain with 2 subs tbh and 2 badly calibrated subs can be worse than having 1

Don't mix sealed and ported. Either get a second SVS or sell it for 2 of these.

Not saying you can't, but subs are different and will fight each other by canceling out frequencies, etc. Especially when one is ported and one isn't.

Not sure where you live, but if you are in Dallas and need to get rid of the 10S MkII , would love to take it

As someone who has used (and been happy with) boxed 5.1 kits for my whole life, I got the 10E for my new house with a HUGE basement and set it up with CG3M L\R and CG23M center channels. Once everything was tuned in the AVR, the 10E to my ears sounds amazing.

I don't live nearby, but I'm rooting for you to find your match

Edit: if for home theater, 2 subs are better than 1. Maybe you are better off single in this case.
