Hey pur- appreciate the intent but it DOES come off as staff stealing deals. When almost all the deals on the main page show up as sponsored or by staff it's kinda like what's the point in contributing.Note: Slickdealer for 20 years.

It can happen the other way too with staff deals being "stolen", but it's true staff have an advantage since they're on the site full-time. We are trying to come up with a better solution. And of course Slickdeals would love to have more people post deals, but I don't think there are as many hardcore forum users these days, even for just chatting, since everyone has multiple streaming services and social media reels to keep them busy, so staff took up the slack of deal posting.
