impossible to find a slickdeal on a 14" frying pan or wok type pan, only the "dust collectors" go on sale

the only thing these mini cast iron pans is good for is using as a press for making smash burgers. They are a novelty.

Cast iron woks hold the heat better than carbon steel. I cook stir fry using both. Veggies go in the Cast Iron, meat fry's in the steel wok.

Desserts and small pastry! Using them for smash burgers in the 10/12in pans feels weird because of the handle but griddle should be better.

I use my Chinese Chinese lightweight cast iron wok, only 4lbs. Much easier to season than carbon steel and pretty much the only solution to my awful glass cooktop with electric coils.

Only for a near bite-size cornbread serving. The true Lodge square cornbread skillets are nearly 4x this size, at near 10" square, as well as over twice as deep.
