Of note, it doesn't say in the offer page, but you only get YouTube Premium Lite included when the free trial ends. Also it did cancel and refund my existing annual Google one subscription automatically.

I mostly signed up for it to see how YouTube lite works...I have YouTube premium and wanted to downgrade it. I had to leverage customer support via chat to get the full 6 month promotion. Kept getting shown 1 month free trial when I did self checkout.

The question generally comes down to: are you using the ai chatbots enough to justify paying for them rather than using their free tiers but in this case its free for six months so it's definitely worth giving it a try.

Lite is basically the same thing except music videos still have ads and YouTube music isn't included. I switched from YouTube Premium Family to this and Apple Music family because Verizon offers a great deal on that too. I haven't minded the downgrade too much but YouTube music is better than Apple Music in terms of user experience.

Though, seems like it's more than a partial refund to me. Maybe they just ended my prior plan altogether and just charged me for the last two months I used, refund the rest? Great deal!

kinda worthless 6 months? i guess its a trial. also the cloud free for 1 yr promos for terabytes are also bait and once you are in with all your info its harder to leave so u stay with them thats how they get u.

better to not even start that shit and clean up your files. ai i guess u can drop whenever

I got the exact same thing when I signed up. It's gotten me a little nervous that the trial is only for 3 instead of 6 months. And will they automatically get you out of the free trial or will I have to set a reminder for myself to cancel it? I'm guess it is the latter.

If you already have it, remove the perk, can it be added back to the same line successfully? Do you then need to re-invite your other users? I currently share it with spouse and child.
