Not great for every use case but rarely anything is perfect for every user all the time.
Clearly these things have a target audience since so many brands make this exact config and have for over a decade. You trying to litigate that in the comment section of a random deal website ain't going to change that.

lol honestly i dont know if this comment has any weight to it, TONS of players with the recommended high refresh rate sized monitors, and still incredibly buns in the game.

What they're saying is 31.5" at standard desk viewing distances looks ROUGH. It's not about refresh rates but about pixel density and retina distance. 24" high refresh 1080p is great for competitive games; 31.5" not so much.
