I have 7400 (manufactured in year 2020) and it is a solid machine. I almost bought refurbished 7420 a few weeks ago at $280. Then I found out it is only marginal improvement over 7400.
So, I have to search for something better.
It was $280 a few weeks ago. Now you can get it at $240. Much better deal.
Newegg's MO is 'shady'

It's the rubberised coating.
It gives you that premium feel when new, but in no time at all it's all going to be sticky and gross.
What's weird is the few video's that I watched you could tell they noticed it, but didn't say anything.
