Pollo Loco used to be ok, but now they are an overpriced joke! No value anymore. A small leg & thigh is not worth that much in reality, so paying $3+ for $0.25 worth of a drink to get a couple small pieces of chicken ain't a big deal. I can buy 8 piece of bigger chicken pieces, especially the breasts at a local market for $5, much better value!

Is it just me or does it taste different as well? I swear they changed something with it (the chicken itself), the last few times I've had it.

Last time they had a BOGO burrito deal. It was my first time trying the place but all I got was mostly rice, no veggies, and not much chicken. It was small too. Even BOGO at $10 I felt ripped off. I'd rather pay full price at Chipotle.

Their chicken is very small, a leg and thigh won't fill you up. If you have a McDonalds nearby an El Pollo loco, on this same day (Wednesday), they will have a deal for a free big mac with a $2 purchase in app (there's a thread here about that as well).
