I'd trust a Bauer is much better than this unit, for similar reasons and likely closer to the performance of the 2 name brand units.
I ran comparison tests where I powered several items, including a 55 watt 168-LED 115v floodlight unit and the cheapie inverter would cause it to dim and shut off in repeated intervals, while the Milwaukee and Ridgid unit I have operated it flawlessly along with powering a constant 230 watts from a load test I did on all the units.
This cheapie inverter repeatedly failed even at just 70% of the rated watts. These are also significantly lighter in weight than the Milwaukee and Ridgid units, which obviously is from just bare-bones cheap circuitry components.
