Yes! All those rogue trains hopping off the rails and hunting down poor pedestrians. If only there was some way to protect people from the dangers of the machine that runs in straight lines.. maybe we should install flashing lights and alarm bells somewhere? Maybe we could start with where roads meet the train tracks? That way, people know when it's time to look up from their phones.

This is a really good option, it is a great service and much needed for the region with the traffic on the major highways. They will continue to improve if they figure out their financial problems, especially with their loans/debt.

Wish the trains were faster though

If premium is available I highly recommend it. It was relatively cheap for 3 of us but we booked pretty far out. In the premium lounge, snacks were ok in there but they also have a beer/wine tap that is self serve. The meal on the train was actually pretty good as well.

Fun fact - this is a higher speed train ~120mph. They do slow down in urban areas...

The wry humor of the other comment isn't about people dying; it's about the absurdity of blaming trains for people intentionally walking on the tracks, or people driving cars and ignoring marked crossings with lights, bells, and other warnings specifically designed to prevent them. Blaming the trains when trains are confined to tracks isn't the real issue.

I actually have but it was the 80s, Tokyo to Iwakuni. Congrats captain obvious on pointing out we don't have faster trains here.

I think there's more to the brightline fatality issue when comparing it to say amtrak..obviously Amtrak doesnt have these numbers and brightline only serves Certain areas within Florida..If you do the research it's very obvious there's a problem bigger than the people getting in the way
