I have a set of these and man they saved my bacon on a belt replacement where turning two tensioners were required. I was able to zip tie one of these rotated into place way down in the engine while turning the more accessible one. Highly recommended!

I'd bite if there was a similar deal on the 10-piece. Can use the larger sizes that aren't on this set.

Edit: Now see the 10-piece set has ratchet end on only 1 side of each wrench. Plus it is listed as 8-24mm range, but actual top size is only 22mm.
Get far more sizes with the 6-piece set listed here.

I think you're giving them too much credit. I don't think they're smart enough to even realize it even yet and it may not be the reason for any discount, as all their other 12-pt ratcheting wrench sets also have 12-point design and they're at their regular prices to only very slight (5%-10%) discounts.

a self respecting tool collector such as myself would get the harbor freight pittsburgh extra long handle wrenches in this price range.. why? bc you need the standard open end to break tough bolts loose the the ratchet end to finish the job.. something like this on tough bolts will likely either break the tool or strip the bolt.. that and pittsburgh has a no hassle exchange for broken tools

Better than snap-on, Matco, Mac, Gearwrench, and every other tool manufacturer and engineer lmao. News flash, These are usually used in tight places, 12pt allows you to get onto the head of the bolt/nut with much less space..............

I can see why you say tool collector and not tool user. A tool user wouldn't be using a ratcheting wrench to break a bolt loose whether it's 6 or 12 point.

I think everyone who buys flex head ratcheting wrenches already has had a set of open and box end wrenches for many years as their first or primary set.... for breaking stuff loose. I've had a set of STANLEY metric box and open end wrenches for about 25 years from Walmart and have had absolutely no issues with them.

Looky here, another armchair "expert" well accustomed to sitting on their hands and taking on a wrench once every three years. The ring rotates, professor. What you're saying is correct but for non-ratcheting standard wrench. Makes sense? Let me know if you feel stuck, I should be able to make a pictogram explanation with pictures with crayons. IDK brother, to me it seems common sense, we don't even need to have to go to college to know. You just need to swing one every now and then to make a difference and to notice stuff like this. I am not a mechanic, and to me it sticks like a sore thumb. I don't like the brass looking ring too. It sticks to the steel on bolts, but this could just be me.
