This is not true. The Nintendo store and eShop aren't the same. The eShop is specifically for digital sales and content + some accessories

Unless somehow Sam's Club Nintendo eGift Cards are different than Newegg eGift Cards (which I don't believe they are). Nintendo changes their TOS to allow it in September 2025 from what I can tell.
