Multiple reviews state the device even when OFF will drain your dewalt batteries to ZERO, which DESTOYS your batteries!
DO NOT BUY! These destroy dewalt batteries EVEN WHEN OFF!
"The light is very bright and does fit on a dewalt 20v battery. The lamp appears to be cheaply assembled but both of the ones I received operated correctly. Unfortunately, I left one of them on a shelf attached to a battery. It was obviously turned off, it has a 3 way switch, center is off, one side is high, other side is low. Anyway, the lamp was turned off. While sitting unused attached to a battery, it drained the battery down to complete zero. Which meant the battery was ruined and useless, because they won't charge at all if that happens. So these cheap little lamps cost me one expensive battery. Threw the lamps in the trash."
"I left this light attached to an 8.5 amp hour battery and unused for several months. During this time it completely drained the battery to zero, ruining it. If you own one of these, be warned to disconnect the battery when you're finished, or get used to buying expensive batteries. Rating reduced from 5 to 1 star."
I wish these trash products would go away.
These tilswall devices NEVER have low-voltage-cutoff protection, meaning you WILL destroy your expensive dewalt batteries (by using them down below safe levels) as the cheap tools don't know when to shut off. Dewalt the battery low volt electornics are in the TOOLS not the battery, so these knockoff crap tools WILL ruin your nice batteries. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Reviews not the best. I will put my warning on this so people don't destroy their expensive Dewalt batteries on this device:
BEWARE: this device will run your expensive dewalt batteries BELOW safe level, which completely ruins the batteries which cannot ever be charged again! This is not something I would buy unless the knockoff tool specifically states it has a LVC inside the tool itself (because Dewalt batteries do NOT have them onboard, its in the TOOLS)
Requoting to aware people on this problem:
"I would NEVER trust a non-dewalt tool. The battery cutoff is inside the dewalt TOOLS, so many non-dewalt tools (cheap ones without low voltage cutoff) will permanently ruin dewalt batteries (by draining the batteries down completely which makes them un-recoverable). I would NOT trust this crappy device to NOT destroy my nice batteries."
"Im not saying NEVER buy off-brand, but unless the off-brand tool literally brags about having "low voltage cutoff" in the tool itself, avoid at all costs, its not worth ruining your dewalt batteries (which cannot be recovered or ever used again).
You can buy the tool above, but you NEED to remove the battery after every single usage, and when using, check the battery level indicator every few minutes, and STOIP USING IT if the battery level goes from 2 down to 1 bar, but NOT use at 1 bar because you don't know where the bottom of that last bar ends.
Hopefully I save a few Dewalt owners from trashing their expensive batteries"

Dewalt keeps their LVC inside the tools, NOT the batteries. Many people discharge their batteries past the point of resuscitation. And the "tricks" don't always work to get a battery back working. Google for plenty of stories. Many Dewalt batteries have been junked because of stuff like above, and inability to "rescue" them using hacks and tricks.
Not worth possibly trashing your dewalt batteries, just to save a few bucks on a shoddy chinese tool, IMO, but you're free to do what you want.
I just want to warn people so they don't unknowingly destroy their expensive batteries to save twenty bucks... Most people don't know about the dewalt LVC being in the tools NOT the batteries like many other brands have...

With that said, this does work. The USB ports are under power and takes forever to charge my Samsung S21+ (4 hrs from 20% to 80%).

Its VERY disturbing that these chinese companies are now LYING about having "low voltage protection", absolutely INSANE they advertise this feature, and then don't include it, which can DESROY your dewalt batteries completely.
How this stupid product isn't downvoted to hell, I have no clue. I saw it being at -2 vote before some people bumped it up to a +1. Infuriating. These junk products which destroy your batteries should be banned from here (and amazon). JUNK JUNK JUNK
