The good is that the size is right for a small bathroom. But they are pretty small. Be sure to review the measurements. They seem to work fine for the most part.
Negatives are they eat batteries. I use NiMh batteries, so not horrible, but you have to swap them every 2-3 weeks, or more. I wouldn't buy again.

Source: I bought these several weeks ago.
ETA: I stopped messing with the battery altogether and just use them as regular trash cans with a lid. The gear mechanism makes them easy to open and close, and the lid keeps my pets out.
And ants. Goddamned ants, who send out scouts to find food waste then call their fourteen billion friends to the buffet.
