Can't be used with switch 1 even though there are some games (Mario Sunshine) that would benefit from it. You're better off finding an old gamecube controller with USB adapter, or a third party controller. At $70 this is kind of a deal breaker

Thank you so much. I'm hoping one day it will work wirelessly. I have 3 xbox one controllers (right my now my favorites), 2 8bitdo Ultimate 1, 1 8bitdo ultimate 2 and 2 unopened Switch 2 Pro controllers. I had a Switch 1 Pro controller in the past.

The Switch 2 Pro controller is the GOAT and by a large margin.
