This is actually an excellent deal for a budget gaming pc. Specs list an X16 pcie slot on the motherboard. Just slap in a cheap gpu and you're good to go.

If it does have the slot, this is a great little machine. Curious if rAm is upgradable

Again this is for a budget system. You throw in either a 1650 or 3050 low power GPU. They run off mobo power. No extra psu power needed. They literally only draw from the motherboard slot.
FYI, even the AM4 $200 Ryzen 5500 mobo/cpu/ram combos from newegg/microcenter that show up every month or two are more powerful than this.https://www.cpubenchmark.net/comp...zen-5-5500
True but these are full computers.

It's not better across the board, but it is surprising how poorly the AI 5 330 performs compared to the 5500. The 5500 is already a gimped CPU, if I'm not mistaken. It doesn't have an iGPU, but it still shares a lot of the flaws of the 5000G-series. And even still, it trades blows with the much newer AI 5 330.
A lot of people turn their noses up at anything Zen 3. They cite that it's "old technology". I think the example you bring up highlights just how capable Zen 3 still is. And with the way the market is due to RAMpacolypse, DDR4 systems offer a competitive cost/performance ratio.
