Thanks a bunch! I almost preordered yesterday from Nintendo but thought I would wait to see if Amazon does their $10 off promo. It also sounds like the first print of this game will come with the foil cover, so I'm super excited about that as well.

When the game first came out it redefined how adventure 3D video games would forever be made. It took the exploration & dungeon concepts from the original 2D versions of Legend of Zelda games & expanded on it. The game is cinematic. There are so many places to explore, secrets to unravel, etc. The story has twists & turns. There are mini games to play which give a change of pace to the gameplay. The combat at the time was revolutionary (Z targeting enemies), it allowed you to lock onto an enemy for a focused fight. The dungeons are challenging and require a lot of puzzle solving to complete. This game released on the N64, which invented the rumble pack (which modern games take for granted since every video game controller has rumble in it now). They used the rumble pack in unique ways at the time for this game: like using rumble to clue you in on a secret area, treasure, etc.

Your favorite adventure game was inspired from this masterpiece of a game. Many people got into video game development because of it.

Oh and the music in this game is fantastic. You will have songs stuck in your head. You'll hum along with the melodies. The music is so iconic in fact that they have a Nintendo approved orchestra that travels around the world playing music from the game. The shows sell out. Nintendo went all out in the creation of the game all those years ago to create a masterpiece and I can assure you when they remade this game they did the same thing.

I have had yet to have a problem with Amazon's preorders on games or games.I ordered Starfox and it came a day early I ordered Michael in 4k and it came two stars early.So Amazon has been good to me.

I was just able to get the physical pre-order. Oddly, when I followed the link above it initially didn't give me any way to pre-order. But switching to digital and then back to physical made the pre-order button show up.

I wanted to play this game, but I don't have a switch 2 and am not going to get one anytime soon.

Guess I'll have to sign up for switch online and play it that way (never played the original, but heard good things), if i ever run out of games to play.
