Lenny and Larry's Birthday Cake Complete Cookies are best understood as high calorie snack cookies with some protein, not a true protein food. The taste gets praise in some comments, and the cookies are described as more filling than typical protein bars. The main drawbacks are the nutrition profile and the flavor for this specific variety, with repeated complaints about too much sugar, weak protein to calorie balance, and a birthday cake taste that does not land well. Digestive issues from the pea protein and inulin also come up, making this a niche pick if you want a sweet, filling snack.

LOL, one cookie has 20G of sugar. I love how they take candy and slap "protein" on the package as if its now healthy. They even make protein pop tarts now.

420 calories seems the perfect amount to crave the munchies.
Costco has Premier Protein shakes with 30G of protein at only 160 calories per serving.

You will feel full much longer, its a much much higher source of protein, and at way lower calories since it isn't loaded with sugar. This cookie has 20G of sugar per cookie, a sprite cola is around 25G.

I've eliminated added sugars (and breads) from my diet, and have lost 91lbs in 28 weeks. I always thought I ate too much, but now I know it wasn't so much the bulk but the sugar and refined carbs. Just eating costco rotiserie chicken, broccoli, salad (no sugar dressing), and the like, you feel full on way less calories and don't have that blood sugar spike and falls.

I hate it when companies slap "Protein" snack or whatever on their products when they are far from being one. Protein in the product should be close to or more than 1/10th of the calories to be even remotely considered as a protein snack. In this case it is 8g as opposed to 21g. Almost 1/3rd
I totally get what you're saying, but compared to a regular cookie, this has more protein.. I guess there is a fine balance between higher protein content and not tasting at all like a cookie..

Trash company that lied to consumers and they weren't even good then. If you want a cookie eat a real cookie.. this whole "high protein" junk food craze is so annoying.

Yeah FDA needs to put a rule on that. It can only be called high protein if there's 10g of protein per 100 cals in my opinion. 110 cal? Nope. Guess you could put it at 1g per 10 cals. Whatever you get the point lol.

I was making a "420" joke in that previous post.
