Community Reviews
These 1 ounce Cheez It bags are a handy snack stash for lunches, soup toppings, and Halloween handouts, with the portioned packs making them easy to grab or tuck into goodie bags. The sealed bags also support longer storage, and the printed expiration date was decoded as April 8, 2027. Caveats include reports of occasional torn or leaking bags, possible heat damage in transit, and concern that freezing may leave them soggy. A practical pick if you want small, ready to share portions.
The pack can work for party and event snack planning like Halloween hand-outs and goodie bags.
The crackers can be frozen, then thawed for later eating while staying fresh for a very long time.
The 1-oz bags can be portioned and vacuum-sealed after serving to help maintain freshness.
The crackers can be used beyond snacking, including soup and as an ingredient for meatloaf.
Freezing may cause moisture absorption that can lead to soggy crackers after long freezer storage.
Some boxes may arrive with loose crackers and a high share of bags with rips or air leakage.
Some orders may show a different pack size in checkout or follow-up email, such as receiving a 40-pack instead of an 80-pack.
Damaged bags can occur occasionally, and heat or truck time may contribute to leaks.

I Googled, it says not so good. They absorb moisture in the freezer. I won't want soggy crackers. I was hoping they'd stay good for long periods this way, but I must interpret long differently than the other person does.
I just cannot use all of these up fast enough, or I'd be in.
Also, there are more crumbs per ounce in one 19 oz box than in 19 x 1 oz bags. Just something I've noticed from eating these both ways.
The biggest concern for me (not pre-portioning a big box) is that I'd typically eat maybe 2-3 oz worth before stopping. But I'm weak when it comes to these. Being lazy and weak-willed has its price.
