Gooloo is a respected brand of jump starters. I have (3) of 1500A starters purchased in 2021, 2023 and 2024 and they have all worked fantastic. Highly rated on ProjectFarm

I'm guessing your not an electrical engineer? This produces 3000A peak current. "A 12,000 mAh jump starter will typically start a car 15 to 20 times on a single full charge..."
I own (3) smaller Gooloo 10,000mAh jump starters and they are fantastic. Saved me and others many time since I have owned them for 6 years. This is a great buy.

I agree 3000 amps means little and is just an overinflated advertising gimmick, but to less tech savvy people, higher numbers means better right? But now consider this. Your actual car battery under your hood probably provides less than 800 amps, maybe even a lot less, but its more than enough to turn the engine and start your car. Most people just care if it's going to do what it says its going to do and that's start your car, and it'll do that. It will start a dead car and it does it well, I've used quite a few different brands and so far they've all worked as advertised. Starting your car in real-world use is more important than a gimmicky overinflated number used for advertising.

Products like these are generally reliable, but do not leave it in your car when the outside temperature is over 90 °F for an extended period of time! Best to take it inside when you're not traveling during the summer months.

Well this item has over 4500 ratings so there's bound to bad ones, but 87% of them are 4 star or better. That's actually not bad for a consumer electronic product. The consumer electronic industry as a whole has a very high return rate with a big part of it due to user error. When you look at the bigger picture, and all things considered,.. close to 90% 4 star or better is actually a good number. NOCO is probably the industry gold standard but you're gonna pay out the ass for a NOCO product and even they have their fair share of bad reviews. Ehhh, that's your call. To each their own.

That's good advice. Modern Lithium batteries are superior in almost every facet over most older chemistries except for 1. Lithium batteries don't handle extreme temperatures (hot and cold) that well. Lead acid is still superior compared to lithium in that facet. These jumpers shouldn't be kept in a glove box year around in states like where I live. Idaho has cold winters so I bring mine inside for the coldest winter months. The same goes for extreme hot climates. If you live in a hot climate area, you definitely don't want to leave these in your car year around.

I purchased a GOOLOO jump starter from a Slickdeals thread about 4-5 years ago. It came in handy several times, and I even kept it in my trunk for years in the Las Vegas heat without issue. I eventually gave it away a year ago, and it was still working perfectly.
