Community Reviews
The Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro stands out as a durable, versatile countertop oven that can handle daily use and often replaces a full-size oven for smaller households. It has a strong reputation for longevity, and the cooking performance is described as solid when the unit works. The used like new listings sometimes arrive in truly pristine, unopened condition and can feel like a good value versus retail. The main drawbacks are inconsistent resale quality, with reports of dents, missing parts, rust, dead units, and GFCI trips on startup, plus some concern about Breville's PFAS situation. A solid pick if you want the feature set and can tolerate resale risk.
Common Questions (3)
It can arrive practically new, still wrapped, and in retail packaging, but some units have also shown dents, scratches, rust, missing parts, or warped casing. The condition grading appears inconsistent, so inspect the box and unit carefully on arrival.
Some units can trip kitchen GFCI outlets on startup or arrive dead and never heat the coils. If that happens, the practical fix is usually a return or exchange rather than troubleshooting the cooking modes.
Yes. It can handle daily use for years, and some owners rarely turn on their full-size oven because this unit covers most cooking needs. A few long-term reports mention only minor wear, such as a door spring or roller issue, before later electronics problems.

Gets used as much as the microwave.

It was plastic and eventually would get a groove in it and the door wouldn't close correctly.
Well, then the electronics went haywire, so I tossed it. But when it worked, it was a decent oven.
2nd one came in a beaten up original packaging. Multiple dents but most are minor. Wonder how Amazon thinks that is a mint condition. But other than cosmetic it functioned properly, and looked to be new. Might just keep it.
